01Delivery zones & timing

We dispatch from Saloni Village, Mahendragarh district, Haryana. Delivery times are calculated from the dispatch date, which is typically the morning after order confirmation (orders placed before 6 PM dispatch next morning). For orders placed on Sundays, dispatch happens Monday morning.

Note on first-time delivery

For your first delivery to a new pin code, we sometimes do a quick test shipment with a sample tray (free) to confirm the courier route and cold-chain integrity for that destination. This adds 1-2 days but ensures your main order arrives reliably. We notify you in advance if this applies.

02Delivery charges

Delivery charges depend on your zone, order value, and whether you are a subscriber:

  • Zone 1 (NCR + Haryana): Free for orders above ₹500. ₹50 flat charge for orders below ₹500.
  • Zone 2 (Tier-1 metros): ₹80–150 depending on order weight. Free for orders above ₹1,500.
  • Zone 3 (Tier-2 cities): ₹150–250 depending on distance and weight. Free for orders above ₹2,500.
  • Zone 4 (Haryana villages): Free for orders above ₹500, ₹40 below that.
  • Gulf shipments: ₹400–700 per shipment depending on destination and weight. No free shipping threshold for international orders due to cold-chain costs.
  • Subscription customers: Free delivery on every order regardless of value or zone (excluding Gulf).
  • B2B / bulk customers: custom shipping rates negotiated per contract; typically waived for orders above 50 trays.

All shipping charges are inclusive of GST where applicable and clearly displayed before you confirm payment. There are no hidden handling, fuel, or service charges added later.

03Cold-chain handling

Eggs are perishable. Maintaining the right temperature throughout transit is the difference between fresh-tasting eggs and a disappointing breakfast. Our cold-chain protocol:

  • Pre-dispatch: eggs are stored in our cold room at 4–6°C from grading until dispatch. They never see a temperature above 18°C between lay and your door.
  • India transit (within 200 km): refrigerated van at 4–8°C, no transfers, direct route.
  • India transit (longer routes): cold-chain logistics partner (Snowman Logistics or regional partner) maintaining 4–10°C, with adhesive temperature strips on every shipment box. We audit a sample of returned strips monthly.
  • Gulf transit: foil-lined insulated boxes with two gel ice packs, designed to maintain under 12°C internal temperature for 96 hours. Air freight via temperature-controlled cargo where available.
  • Last-mile: insulated bags from courier hub to your doorstep. Drivers are briefed on egg-handling protocols.
Cold-chain breach

If the temperature strip on your shipment box shows a breach (red marker visible) on receipt, do not consume the eggs. Photograph the strip, message us on WhatsApp within 24 hours, and we replace the entire shipment for free or refund the order in full.

04Order tracking

Every order gets a live tracking link sent via SMS and WhatsApp the moment dispatch happens. The link includes:

  • Courier partner name and AWB number for India shipments
  • Live GPS location of the delivery vehicle, updating every 60 seconds
  • Estimated time of arrival, recalculated based on traffic and route
  • Driver phone number for direct coordination on the day of delivery
  • Photo proof of delivery after the package is received, sent to your WhatsApp

If tracking goes silent for more than two hours during business hours (8 AM to 8 PM IST), please WhatsApp our dispatch desk at +91 90917 92917 and we'll investigate within 10 minutes. For Gulf shipments, you receive both the India-side AWB and the international leg AWB, so you can track end-to-end.

05Failed delivery & re-attempts

Sometimes delivery cannot be completed on the first attempt. We handle this without charging you extra:

  • First failed attempt: the driver calls you on the registered number. If you don't answer, the package returns to the local hub.
  • Second attempt: automatically scheduled for the next business day, free of cost. We notify you via WhatsApp with the new ETA window.
  • Third attempt: if needed, we coordinate a specific time directly with you. After three failed attempts, the package returns to our farm.
  • Returned packages: if you'd like the order re-shipped, we charge only the courier-return cost (typically ₹80–150 within India). If you'd prefer a refund, we deduct only the original shipping cost and refund the rest.

If you know in advance that a delivery may fail (you're travelling, building entry restrictions, etc.), please WhatsApp us before dispatch — we can hold the order, change the address, or arrange pickup from our nearest hub.

06Time slots & address changes

We currently offer broad delivery windows rather than precise time slots:

  • Morning window: 8 AM to 12 PM (most popular)
  • Evening window: 4 PM to 8 PM
  • Subscriber preference: subscribers can specify a preferred window when setting up their subscription, and we honour it on every dispatch

For Delhi-NCR, we are piloting a "narrow window" service offering specific 2-hour slots for an additional ₹40 per order. Email delivery@sahyaagro.com if you'd like to be added to the early-access list.

Changing your delivery address

If you need to change the delivery address after placing an order, the cutoff depends on dispatch status:

  • Before dispatch: easy — WhatsApp us the new address and we update without charge.
  • After dispatch (same city): usually possible with a small re-routing fee (₹50–100) charged by the courier.
  • After dispatch (different city): the package has to return to a hub and re-ship. Charges depend on distance; we'll quote before proceeding.

07Bulk & B2B shipments

Bulk and business-to-business orders follow a different shipping protocol because of volume, frequency, and operational requirements:

  • Minimum bulk order: 30 trays per dispatch (900 eggs). Below this, standard retail rates apply.
  • Recurring B2B: we set up a fixed weekly or twice-weekly dispatch schedule with your operations team. Same dispatch window every week to help with kitchen planning.
  • Refrigerated van delivery: for orders above 100 trays in NCR/Mumbai/Bengaluru, we use dedicated refrigerated vans rather than parcel courier — fewer transfers, better cold-chain integrity.
  • Custom invoicing: weekly consolidated invoices, GST-compliant, with delivery-receipt photos included.
  • Bulk pricing: shipping costs negotiated as part of the supply contract; typically waived for clients above 50 trays per dispatch.

08Gulf-region shipments

We currently ship to 56 cities across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. Gulf shipments require additional considerations:

  • Customs documentation: we handle FSSAI export certification, Halal certification, and customs declarations on your behalf. Your name and contact appear as the consignee.
  • Air freight: primary mode is temperature-controlled air cargo. For larger volumes, we use sea-freight reefers (4-6 day transit).
  • Customs duties: customs clearance fees are generally absorbed by us for orders above ₹3,000 to consumer destinations. For commercial imports, customs duty is borne by the importer.
  • Delivery window: 4-7 days door-to-door from dispatch in most cases. Ramadan and Eid periods may extend by 1-2 days due to import processing volume.
  • Replacement window: Gulf customers have a 48-hour reporting window for any quality issue (compared to 24 hours for India), accounting for transit and unpacking variability.
Halal certification

All Gulf shipments include our Halal certification documentation, recognised across the GCC. Certificate copies are available on request via email info@sahyaagro.com.

09Delays & force majeure

Despite our best efforts, sometimes delays happen. We classify them into three categories:

9.1 Operational delays (within our control)

If a delay is due to our farm operations, courier partner mishandling, or any reason within our reasonable control, we proactively notify you via WhatsApp, offer a partial shipping refund, and ensure the next order ships on priority. For subscribers, we credit a free additional delivery to make up for the delay.

9.2 Transit delays (partly within control)

Heavy traffic, last-mile courier delays, or weather slow-downs in expected ranges. We'll keep you updated; if the delay exceeds 24 hours past the original ETA, we offer a full shipping refund or a free replacement at your option.

9.3 Force majeure (outside our control)

Events like natural disasters, civil disruptions, regulatory holds, customs delays in destination countries, pandemic-related restrictions, fuel strikes, or major weather events that disrupt logistics nationally are beyond our control. In such cases:

  • We notify all affected customers within 24 hours of the event being known
  • We hold dispatches and resume as soon as logistics restore
  • For perishable orders that cannot wait, we offer full refunds without deduction
  • We cannot offer compensation beyond the order value, but we always try to make the next order count for the inconvenience
